  1. REIKI

Reiki is a complementary therapy to traditional medicine, discovered by the Japanese Mikao Usui, who defined it as "energy therapy". The syllable Rei can be translated as "spiritual" or "universal", while Ki means vital energy. Like other traditional Asian practices, Reiki enhances the balancing of the vital energy of the human body. Its therapeutic effect occurs when the Reiki practitioner directs the universal vital energy to the patient, through a series of hands – on techniques in which the practitioner gently touches the body of the person.

Reiki restores and balances the energy from the organism and promotes the body's ability to heal itself by aligning both body and mind. At a physical level Reiki calms the physical pain, strengthens the immune system and strengthens the body for any disease. At a psychological level, the Reiki allows the person to enter a state of relaxation and peace. It is of great benefit in cases of depression or stress.
