LIPOSCULPTURE
Traditional Lipo-sculpture
Lipo-sculpture is an evolved technique from liposuction, the objective is to reduce the amount of fat under the skin at specific sections of the body, extracting it with a suction system through cannulas inserted in places with excess fat, making small cuts for this end, seeking always to achieve a harmonious whole without excess volume at key points of the body.
The most common liposuction, is done at the abdomen, but can be done at upper and lower limbs, neck and buttocks.
The current lipo-sculpture takes place with thinner cannulae than those used in traditional liposuction; giving the surgeon the possibility to draw less fat of areas where is not always required, always achieving a more cosmetic and natural effect. In addition, the rendered fat can be used to be inserted into areas where needed.
The best part is that these procedures are performed under local/ regional anesthesia and mild oral sedation and without the need for hospitalization.
The patient will remain close to 3 hours at the clinic. After surgery, before returning home, a surgical elastic girdle must be worn during the early days in order to return to normal activities.
The only restriction for this procedure is to avoid gymnastic exercises for at least the following 15 days after the intervention.
Lipolysis, LASER lipo sculpture
Lipolysis is an evolution of the liposculpture technique that involves a laser device (not vaser) to facilitate the removal of subcutaneous fat.
This laser facilitates the dilution of the fatty tissues not only by allowing easy extraction, but also making the process much less traumatic and painful for the patient, allowing better and faster recovery.
